Updates: What’s New, April 2017

It’s been ages since I’ve posted anything here. I had hoped to make this an online portfolio of some sort. Possibly an easily accessible business card but I think, for the time being, it’s best left to personal blogging since I’m so lax doing anything with it.

I haven’t exactly had a lot of time for personal blogging, as of late. I haven’t had a lot of time for anything, actually, and it seems like every week my life is hijacked by someone and becomes more complicated than necessary. My life is sort of collapsing, again, for the fiftieth time. Maybe the sixtieth. Living on someone else’s schedule, from one of their self-induced crisis to the next. And, on top of it all, our Lily passed away last month. Add in that Trump’s actually President, and you can see why I’m having some problems coping, lol.

C’est la vie.

Now, on to less depressing topics.

I’m working on a vintage-style project, a business of sorts, but it’s taking a back burner to my social media management business. Still working the kinks out of it, should be available soon-ish, assuming said needy person from earlier in this post can leave me alone for a few hours a day. Oh, how bitter I sound. šŸ˜‰

Gym, early in the morning.

I’ve graduated from yoga and basic Pilates to small-time weight training and a few miles a day on the track at the Albany community center, which is fun, but I don’t get near enough time there a day to do much good, I’m afraid. Something’s better than nothing, right? Well, Rob Thomas seems to think so.

I feel so at home on the track. šŸ™‚

I’m mostly focusing on my back, shoulders and legs/hips because I hate core exercises and would be lost, anyway, without more study. One thing at a time! My back needs the work right now, I’m always in so much pain that I know something’s got to give, there.

Listening to Jack Benny while working on the hip abduction machine.

I’m, finally, almost to the finish line with publishing the book I’ve been plugging away at for almost a year. Woohoo!

That’s my boring life at the moment. Work, gym, work, gym. I feel like Sayuri. I have all sorts of things to do, though, so I’m of like a dirty shirt. TTFN!
